How does the referral process work?
Log into your Referral Rewards Center to get your unique referral link and then share it with other law firms in your network. Any law firm that uses your referral link to sign up for Clio will get 2 months free on an annual subscription, 30 days free of payment processing and free data migration, and you’ll get a $250 gift card! By participating in the campaign, customers will have access to additional prizes, including:
- Customers who share their link with a legal peer will receive a $10 Amazon gift card
- Customers whose qualified peer signs up for a Clio demo will receive a $50 gift card and the peer will receive a $50 gift card too
- Customers will be entered in to win one of twenty $1,000 Visa gift cards when their qualified peer signs up for a Clio demo
- Multiple your rewards: Refer 2 subscribers, get an additional $200; refer 3 subscribers, get an additional $300; refer 6 subscribers, get an additional $600
We’ll let you know when someone uses your referral link to sign up for a demo, and you’ll qualify for the gift card reward if they sign up for a paid account prior to December 31, 2024.
Whom can I refer? What is the criteria for an eligible referral?
To be eligible for a referral reward, a successful referral must:
- Be working at a law firm or legal-adjacent business
- Not currently be using Clio or be a member of a firm currently using Clio
- Not currently be in an active evaluation with Clio
- Fill out the referral demo form and sign up for Clio prior to December 31, 2024
- Be located in the United States or Canada
- Not be Affiliate Partners in our Channel Partner Program
How much can I earn?
There’s no limit to the number of rewards that can be paid out through the referral program. For every successful referral you send us, we’ll pay you $250 in the form of a gift card (delivered through a service called Sendoso). Plus you’ll receive an additional $200 when 2 referrals subscribe, an additional $300 when 3 referrals subscribe, and an additional $600 when 6 referrals subscribe. Customers who participate will also receive a $10 Amazon gift card when they share their link with a legal peer, be entered to win one of twenty $1,000 Visa gift cards, and receive a $50 gift card when a qualified peer signs up for a Clio demo. Your referral has to sign up prior to December 31, 2024 by filling out the demo form in order for you to be eligible for the referral gift card and for them to take advantage of the 2 months free on an annual subscription, 30 days free of payment processing and free data migration.

You can track your referrals by signing into your Referral Rewards Center. To do so:
- Go to www.clio.com/referrals/
- Sign in using your Clio Manage username and password
- Click on your dashboard

To be eligible for the promotion, the referrer must be in the US or Canada and 21 years or older. Those who qualify for this offer will be contacted by Clio and offered a digital gift card via Sendoso, which will begin to be distributed 5 – 10 days after your referral signs up for Clio. Gift cards will be sent to the email that’s associated with your Clio Manage account. The $1,000 Visa gift cards will be drawn on or after December 19, 2024 and will be sent via Sendoso. Gift cards will be provided in the currency of the jurisdiction in which the referrer resides (USD or CAD). Gift cards are subject to local tax laws and regulations. Clio will issue a T4A for Canadian participants and 1099 forms for US participants. Affiliate Partners in our Channel Partner Program are not eligible to participate in this program. Clio will monitor abusive or fraudulent behavior and reserves the right to disqualify anyone who violates these Terms and Conditions or Clio’’s Terms of Service. All subscription fees paid are final.
