This is a limited-time offer from Themis Solutions (Ireland) Limited (dba “Clio”) for eligible Subscribers that activate Clio Payments in their Clio Manage account during the course of the promotion period.
These promotional terms are in addition to the Clio Terms of Service located at clio.com/uk/tos which govern Eligible Subscribers’ use of Clio Payments and Clio Services.
a. are current Subscribers to Clio Manage application hosted in Clio’s EU data centre, during the promotion period; b. has never activated the Clio Payments feature in the Subscribers Clio Manage application prior to the beginning of the promotion period; c. have been directly invited to participate in this non-transferrable promotion through a communication initiated by a Clio employee or official Clio communication channel; d. agree to the Clio Payments terms available here upon activation of the Clio Payments feature; and e. successfully activate the Clio Payments feature within thirty (30) days of first becoming a Subscriber to the Clio Manage application.
a. This offer is valid for Eligible Subscribers starting March 1st, 2024 through May 31st, 2024.
a. Eligible Subscribers who successfully activate Clio Payments in their Clio Manage application will not be charged any merchant processing fees on payments processed from credit card or debit card sources for ninety (90) days. The rate change will take effect within one (1) business day of activating Clio Payments. b. Fees from payments processed on the standard merchant processing rate before the Free Payment Processing is applied will not be refunded. c. Free payment processing will be applied for the first one-hundred thousand British Pound Sterling (£100,000 GBP) in payments processed. Payments processed past this amount will have the standard merchant processing rate, as determined by Clio applied to any additional transactions, even if the full ninety (90) days have not elapsed. d. Ninety-one (91) days after activation, all subsequent credit card and debit card payments processed will have the standard merchant processing rate, as determined by Clio, applied.
a. During activation, Eligible Subscribers must complete the application form by filling in the following details: i. Firm details include: business type, business name, Company Number (if applicable), business email, phone number, and address. ii. Personal information for all firm owners with at least 25% ownership including: name, date of birth, relevant tax identification information, email, phone number, and home address. b. Eligible Subscribers must connect their firm bank account and provide routing numbers for at least one operating account.
a. Eligible Subscribers will only process payments in Clio Payments for the purposes intended. Processing of non-commercial transactions unrelated to the payment of client invoices or collection of funds to be held in client accounts will result in the immediate termination of free payment processing. Eligible Subscribers agree that Themis Solutions (Ireland) Limited may charge the Subscriber a one-time processing fee for any non-commercial transactions discovered at the standard merchant processing rate against the total balance of the transactions.
a. Clio is not responsible for Stripe’s failure to authorise a Stripe Connected Account for Eligible Subscriber nor if Stripe fails to complete a processed payment during the period of free payment processing. b. Clio reserves the right to amend this promotion. In the event of material changes to the promotion, Clio will notify Eligible Subscribers, by email, or by other reasonable means of these changes prior to their enactment. c. In the event of a dispute, Clio is the sole authority on eligibility for free payment processing for Eligible Subscribers and all eligibility will be determined at Clio’s sole discretion.
