Summary:

We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Operations Manager to join Clio’s Revenue Operations team. This role is available to candidates remotely in the US and Vancouver or Toronto.

Revenue Operations has one job—to drive growth by accelerating our revenue-generating and revenue-retaining teams. We directly support Sales, Marketing, Channel, Customer Enablement, Customer Support and Payments by providing insights, reducing friction, and enabling teams to be innovative and self-sufficient

Who you are

Clio is on a mission to scale our GTM operations to the next level. We are seeking a high-caliber Sales Operations Manager to lead transformative initiatives that will drive operational excellence across our SaaS product operations. This role is tailor-made for seasoned professionals with a passion for strategic impact and a proven track record of large-scale operational transformations. 

You will be working on the Sales & Channel Operations team in the Revenue Operations department. You are responsible for operational efficiencies and data-driven decision making, and promoting a world-class sales organization. This role will be cross-functional with deep partnerships with many areas of the business: primarily Core, Customer and Channel Sales and additionally, Finance, Product, and Business Operations.  You need to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment, where you are faced with new opportunities and challenges often. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead Operational Transformation: Drive process management initiatives aligned with Clio’s strategic objectives, conducting gap analysis, identifying key opportunities, and building end-to-end solutions for key operations areas of New and Customer Sales and Order Management and Quote to Cash..

  • Be a Technical Champion and an AI Pioneer - Salesforce, Gong, Zoominfo, Consensus,  and more) and work with internal stakeholders to define a strategic roadmap, evaluate and implement new solutions, integrate to existing technologies, and help enable the global Sales organization to stay one step ahead.

  • Operationalize a forecast methodology, and evaluate sales forecasting results and trends

  • Manage a Deal Desk function to quickly and accurately provide answers to inquiries from Sellers.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and refine sales processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Drive improvements in sales productivity by simplifying and automating processes where possible.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide input to the development and delivery of sales reports and dashboards, offering insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making. Partner with data teams to ensure the availability of accurate and comprehensive data. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key revenue metrics. Establish performance metrics and KPIs for the GTM teams .

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Systems, Enablement, Strategy & Analytics,, Marketing, Finance, and Product to align strategies and optimize the organization's sales initiatives.

  • Optimize Salesforce: Working closely with GTM Apps, Maintain SFDC data accuracy for territory and account assignments, ICP, account hierarchies and pipeline as well as ensure data integrity through regular data audits, enrichment, duplication, and data cleansing. 

  • Additional Revenue Org support: Own a range of processes to support the rest of the organization including commissions, forecasting, territory management, and partner portal management.

What you bring:

  • 8-10 years of experience in a Deal Desk, Revenue or Channel Operations, Sales Operations, or Finance  role within a technology or SaaS company.

  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Lightning

  • Deep program/project management experience with large scale operational transformation

  • Knowledge of & experience with multiple business models and pricing strategies in a B2B environment

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze deal economics and structure deals quantitatively. 

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel & Salesforce CPQ, Stripe, Chargebee, Subscribe or other Quoting platforms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Proficient knowledge of SFDC objects and object relationships (Salesforce Admin certification is a bonus but not required)

  • Strong understanding of the business development sales cycle and workflow 

  • Meticulous organization, high standards of accuracy, and strong attention to detail

The full salary range* for this role is $120,800 to $151,000 to $181,200 CAD.Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
