Preet Bharara Announced As Keynote Speaker for Clio’s Annual Legal Tech Conference

VANCOUVER, B.C. (August 22, 2017) – Renowned American lawyer and Former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Preetinder Singh “Preet” Bharara, will be a keynote speaker at the 5th annual Clio Cloud Conference, which runs from September 25-26, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Orleans.
Preet Bharara is widely known for his relentless efforts prosecuting public corruption, and has earned a reputation as one of “the nation’s most aggressive and outspoken prosecutors,” according to The New York Times. During his tenure, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York prosecuted nearly 100 Wall Street executives for insider trading and other offenses, including his office’s case against SAC Capital Advisors which resulted in the largest fine ever paid in the history of insider trading prosecution.
