Taking an innovative approach to legal services in the UAE

Drawing on their Big Law and corporate law backgrounds, co-founders Arjun Ahluwalia and Osman Aboubakr, founded Argentum Law and aimed to offer legal services in a modern, client-focused manner. Argentum Law’s approach distinguishes it from traditional UAE law firms by emphasising accessibility, empathy, and client involvement.

“The idea was to try to build out a newer and more innovative practice that also went back to the basics in the more traditional sense of being a long-term trusted advisor to clients,” Arjun explains.”

From the start, the founders knew that the right technology was essential for them to achieve their vision. After exploring the firm’s tech options, they found Clio.

“We were a very early adopter of Clio. We were looking at a couple of platforms back then, but we went with Clio immediately at the firm’s start and stuck with it. We are very happy with it.”

“When we started, the two of us handled everything from invoicing to collections to figuring everything out. Clio made life really, really easy in the very beginning.”

Supported by Clio, Argentum Law has thrived for nearly a decade. The firm adopted Clio Manage’s law practice management software in 2016 and recently added Clio Grow’s client intake and onboarding software in 2023.
